# How to set Estimates Settings?

Once you have administrator rights in Amberlo you can access and manage Estimates settings.

#### How to access Estimates Settings?

1\. Go to the [General Settings](https://help.amberlo.io/anatomy-of-amberlo-settings?hsLang=en) and click **Bills** in the left-hand menu.

2\. Click the tab **ESTIMATES :**

#### From the Estimates Settings, you can:

1\. Set Estimates numbering formula.

2\. Set default Memos and name for Estimates.

3\. Set default Estimate template and set default Estimate template settings.

 

#### **1. How to set Estimates numbering formula? [(Read more)](https://help.amberlo.io/how-to-set-estimates-numbering-formula?hsLang=en)**

1. Create your estimate numbering formula and enter it into "Numbering formula" field.
2. "Explanation of numbering format" will help you to create **Numbering formula**.
3. Click the button **Save** to save your Estimate numbering formula:

#### **2. In Memos and name settings, you can:**

- Set Default entry in "Memos" [(Read more)](https://help.amberlo.io/how-to-set-default-memos-and-notes-for-estimates?hsLang=en);
- Set Default entry in "Notes at the bottom of the page" [(Read more)](https://help.amberlo.io/how-to-set-default-memos-and-notes-for-estimates?hsLang=en);
- Set Custom Estimate name [(Read more)](https://help.amberlo.io/how-to-set-custom-estimate-name?hsLang=en):

#### **3. In Template settings, you can:**

- Set default Estimate template (Estimate or Report) [(Read more)](https://help.amberlo.io/how-to-set-default-estimate-template?hsLang=en);
