How to create task templates?


Now, with Amberlo, you can prepare the task and meeting templates in advance and group them for specific procedures, such as "client onboarding" or "case preparation." This will help you to optimise the processes and easier the procedures for what needs to be done. With just a few clicks, you can implement these templates for new clients or matters, saving you time and ensuring consistency in your processes.

Here's how it works:

  1. Creating Task Templates: Go to your account settings (1), navigate to the planning section (2) and select templates (3). With a simple click on the plus sign (4), you can create a group name for your templates (5), such as "Company registration", and add as many tasks or events as you need to this group.

    After creating a group name, you can start adding your tasks and events according to the steps you need to take within the ongoing procedure. Start by pressing the plus sign near the created group name (1). You can select the Type of step between task or event (2), then choose the category of the assignment (3), insert the name of the task or event (4), and add a description if needed (5). Insert a due period (6) that will be counted from the task implementation date. You can create a reminder for the task or the event (7). Press save to add this new task to the template.

    After finishing creating the templates, you will see the list like this below.

  2. Adding Tasks to Clients or Matters: You can implement the templates you created from the Planning section (1) or directly from the contact or matter card. If you are in the Planning section (1), press on the dots icon (2) you will see the "Add from Template" pop-up to select. A new popup will appear where you will be able to see the list of groups you created. Select the Group name (3), and the list will appear. Very important is to relate the list with the contact or matter (4) before saving it.

  3. Adjusting Tasks: Before implementing the tasks, you have the flexibility to adjust them all at once. Set the due dates and assignees according to your preferences. You can add several assignees to the task or even. Once implemented, you can still adjust tasks individually.
