# How to set transaction type by adding Payment?

By adding payments to the bills, you can select how these amounts of money to pay the bill were received: Bank transfer, Check, Cash, or other:

1. Open the selected Bill and click \[+\] button next to "Payments".
2. Click on the field "Transaction Type" and select the type from the list:
