# How to Change Your User Details (Email)

## How to change your email address in Amberlo

To update your account details, including your email address, follow these steps:

1. Log in to Amberlo and click on your credentials in the top-right corner of the menu bar nr. 1.
2. Select **User Profile** nr. 2 from the dropdown menu.
3. In the **Email** field, click the edit icon nr. 3 to change your email address.

A pop-up window will open. Here you'll need to:

- Confirm your account password nr. 4.
- Enter your new email address nr. 5, then enter it again to confirm nr.5
- Click **Send confirmation link** nr. 6.

**What happens next:**  
We'll send a confirmation link to your new email address. Your current email will continue to work until you open that link. For your security, we'll also send a notice to your current email address, in case this change wasn't made by you.

**Note:** If you use a social login (e.g., Google), it will be disconnected once you confirm the email change.
